UNIT WINERIES: VILLA WALTER FONTANA (Valtellina - LOMBARDIA region)
The history of Villa Walter Fontana has been deeply linked to the “Valtellinese” territory and its vineyards for over 60 years.
Walter Fontana, the founder, was deeply in love with the terroir of Valtellina and around 1960 he decided to create in Valtellina
a winery which was reflecting his passion for this land and for the most important native grape of this land: the very famous Nebbiolo Chiavennasca.
Villa Walter Fontana vineyards are located on the south facing side of the valley, where the steep slope of the land, mitigated thanks to the famous “mountain hanging” terraces of dry stone walls, enable an optimal exposure of the grapes.
If you want another proof of the verstility of Nebbiolo... Villa Walter Fontana Nebbiolo Chiavennasca is your choice!

NOT ONLY A GREAT WINE, BUT WITH THE MOST BEAUTIFUL DRESS! Cantina di Arceto (Emilia Wine Group) wins the prestigious "Gold Label" award given by Vinitaly to the Lambrusco MIGLIOLUNGO.
A historic award that makes us proud not only of the quality of our wines but also for a label, recently revisited in an artistic key, which represents the different souls of this wine and of our territory.

Sai Krok Isan is a traditional fermented sausage originating from the northeastern provinces of Thailand, made of pork and rice.
We paired with CABERNET FRANC, a red ruby intense wine from our Italian winery PARADIIS. To the nose it enters with good intensity and persistence with typical signs of the variety: red fruits and spices with a vegetable closing. Enough tannic, elegant and intensive aromatic persistence, well balanced.
Are you curious to try this combination?

NATIVE GRAPES...LACRIMA DI MORRO
LACRIMA is the Italian word for teardrop. This red grape is so called referring to the fact that the berries have a tendency to split, dripping juice down the outside of the bunch. It was a sort of forgotten grape, but now we are at the beginning of a splendid rebirth for Lacrima! Traditionally this wine is light, fruity and with some sweet hints perfect to be paired with spicy fish soups but nowadays you can find even fantastic aged version of this wine. Don’t miss this fresh wine with intense and unmistakable varietal aromas, of medium-body… otherwise you will start to shed tears (Lacrima… in Italian!)

UNIT WINERIES: ANTICA CASCINA DEI CONTI DI ROERO (PIEDMONT region)
The estate was established in the early 1950s in the beautiful and precious Langhe, UNESCO World Heritage core zone. In the beginning, it was a typical farm, cultivating fruit, vines and cereal crops, as well as keeping livestock. The turnaround came in the early Seventies, when the decision was made to focus exclusively on viticulture and winemaking. Today with 13.5 hectares of vineyards in steep hills all around the cellar like an big amphitheater, they carefully grow nebbiolo, arneis, barbera and favorita grapes for their fine wines.

WINE OF THE DAY!
DIACONO GERARDO (EMILIA ROMAGNA region) Colli Piacentini DOC
An intriguing blend of Barbera and Bonarda, aged in barrels and barriques for 12 months.
Incredibly intense ruby-red colour with garnet highlights. Appealing, rich and complex aroma with perceptible overtones of violets, small fruits and spices on a pleasant lingering background of plum: dry, fresh harmonious flavour with exceptionally soft
tannins, which underline its importance.
After a long aging, the vintage 2011 has just been released for you!

Produced in the sub-area of Bologna, along hills where the variations in landscape and perfumes exalt the organoleptic features of this fresh wine with a characteristic bitter aftertaste.
Pignoletto boasts a very interesting aromatic outfit: delicate and incisive in its characteristic notes of hawthorn flowers, enhanced in the “petillant” versions, very popular in the summer months.
The soul of this wine reflects the habits of the people of Bologna, their love for good living and food. Pignoletto Classico has obtained the DOCG appellation in 2011 and can be enjoyed still but especially sparkling, a great alternative to the more famous ‘fizzy’ wines.
Are you ready for a new ‘party’ style?

Zhaya is a traditional delicious Kazakh dish made with horse meat. We paired with ADINO, a blend of Montepulciano (90%) and Sangiovese (10%). Aged in concrete for one year it has a fantastic ruby red color with violet reflections tending to garnet with aging. Intense aroma of red fruit, cherry and plum, in the mouth is very soft and elegant.
